About
A specialist Microsoft cloud practice
Elevelay is a senior-led consultancy built around Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. We design and deliver secure, well-architected platforms - covering security and identity, automation and AI adoption, and ongoing fractional security leadership. The practice is built on 15+ years inside Managed Service Providers and Cloud Solution Providers - hundreds of client tenants, with particular depth in finance and insurance - and every engagement is led hands-on by the senior architect who would deliver it. The brand is deliberately company-first, not personal; when you engage, you speak directly with that architect from the first call, under NDA where it helps.

Principles
Enterprise rigour, without the enterprise overhead
We pair the standards and discipline of large-scale enterprise delivery with the speed and directness of a specialist practice.
Senior-led and specialist
Every engagement is led hands-on by an Azure Solutions Architect Expert with deep security and identity focus - not delegated to junior consultants. You get direct access to senior expertise and the decisions that come with it.
Security and governance first
Identity, Zero Trust, and data governance run through everything we do. Security isn't a phase at the end - it's the foundation the rest of the platform is built on.
AI-accelerated, and we govern it
Delivery is infrastructure-as-code and AI-accelerated by default - which is why engagements run shorter and fixed fees lower. We publish the AI governance rules we hold ourselves to; on your estate, AI stays a separate, vendor-neutral choice, assessed on fit and data handling rather than on what's bundled.
Built to scale across tenants
We design for repeatability: baselines, templates, and runbooks that hold up across many environments rather than a fix that only ever works in one. If it cannot be handed over, documented, and repeated, it is not finished.
On that third principle: our AI policy sets out which providers we use, on what commercial terms, what client data never reaches a model, and who remains accountable for every output.
Background
Fifteen years on the service provider side
Most of that experience was earned inside Managed Service Providers and Cloud Solution Providers - responsible for many client estates at once, and living with every decision long after it was made.
Seen at volume, not in theory
Fifteen years supporting client estates as a service provider means seeing the same decisions play out hundreds of times over. The design that looks elegant in a diagram and the one that survives three years of patching, staff turnover, and audits are rarely the same design - at volume, you learn which is which.
The good, the bad, and the ugly
Provider work means inheriting other people's architecture as often as building your own: the tidy tenants and the ones held together by a decade of undocumented exceptions. Remediating those estates teaches you where risk actually accumulates, and how to unwind it without breaking the business that depends on it.
Breadth across sectors and stacks
Regulated and unregulated, ten users and two thousand, greenfield Microsoft Azure and long-tail legacy. That spread is why we lead with the approach that fits your constraints rather than the one we happen to favour - there is no single right answer, only the right answer for your use case.
Fluent in the provider model
Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) licensing, Granular Delegated Admin Privileges (GDAP), multi-tenant management, and partner incentives are day-to-day knowledge here. If you are an MSP or CSP yourself, we speak your operating model natively; if you buy through one, we know exactly what to ask them for.
